The Role:
Delta Communications are looking for a responsible, self-motivated and hardworking individual to join our dynamic and growing organisation as a Service Controller (Administrator) – Immediate start available!
Work will involve responding to incoming calls and emails whilst logging requests and scheduling engineers’ workloads to ensure service level agreements are met.
Our headquarters are located in Stevenage, with a client base throughout the south east of England.
*Please Note – Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK, ideally located in the Stevenage region.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan various service and rework/breakdown jobs efficiently whilst optimising engineers’ productivity.
- You will be expected to liaise with a wide range of clients on a day to day basis, collecting engineers daily work sheets, closing jobs and sending them for invoicing etc.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure any repair parts or equipment is sent in a timely fashion.
- Reviewing priority and non-priority jobs to ensure both engineers and clients are updated on this.
- Resolve minor technical queries and generally issues delivering high level of customer service.
- Prioritise and coordinate customer requests, follow up quotations and order/chase parts for outstanding jobs etc.
- Planning Preventative Maintenance checks – prepare tick sheets, schedule engineers, report on the job and follow up with quotes for remedial works.
- Renewal of Service agreements.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- An excellent communicator who is flexible and able to cope well under pressure whilst maintaining organisation.
- Self-motivated and hungry to learn on the job whilst taking pride in your work.
- Previous experience in a planning/scheduling role, sales of customer service within security/warden call industry.
