Job Title: Senior Sales Executive
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum + Commission
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
A rapidly growing and established fashion-wear company in Salford is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join their team at the fashion studio. The ideal candidate needs to be responsible, self-motivated and have good knowledge of womenswear and menswear market.
In this role, you will lead a small team to excel the sales target, take the challenges to find new retailers and/or wholesalers, and responsible for selling designs to fashion buyers from wholesale and retail market in UK & EU.
Please note that the company does not offer sponsorship and therefore candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK and live within a commutable distance from Salford.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Solicit orders from both new and prospective customers within a designated geographical area.
- Build and maintain a robust client base through exceptional customer relationships.
- Provide clients with samples, catalogues, and illustrations of the company’s product offerings.
- Create and implement effective marketing and advertising strategies to boost sales.
- Oversee all aspects of sales, including achieving sales and margin targets.
- Respond to product inquiries from clients and listen to their concerns.
- Promptly address and resolve any product-related issues.
- Conduct surveys, analyse data, and prepare proposals for both new prospects and existing clients.
- Keep up-to-date with current fashion trends to offer relevant product recommendations to clients.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy.
- Understand product quality standards, factory facilities, ESG, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the in-house design team to ensure alignment on strategies and goals.
Requirements and skills:
- B2B sales experience within the fashion industry is a must
- Experiences in developing new business opportunities in the UK and EU markets is ideal
- Broad understanding of current fashion trends, including production costs and product quality
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Capable of developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Proficient in using sales and marketing tools, such as CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
