The Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for testing websites, mobile apps, and web applications across multiple projects for a range of our clients. Performing a wide variety of testing activities, including but not limited to, functional, system integration, regression, exploratory and automated testing across multiple technology platforms and devices. You will work collaboratively with Developers, Project Managers, and other QA Test Analysts and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that not only perform functionally but also to the highest levels of visual quality and UX.
In this role, you will take the lead in developing the strategy for the continued improvement of our QA processes and you’ll work closely with the Production Director and Technical Director in developing the ongoing testing strategy for the business. In time this role will become responsible for the line management of the QA Test Analysts in the team, ensuring consistency, standards, and quality are maintained across projects. This includes but is not limited to mentoring, development of individuals, resource management, and running staff appraisals and reviews.
You will be technically knowledgeable of and able to understand software architecture concepts with extensive experience in HTML, CSS, and scripting languages. You will have a sound understanding of website testing processes, methodologies, and techniques. Proven Senior QA experience within a commercial software environment and commercial websites.
We are seeking someone with meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality. You’ll work effectively with developers regarding issues found, working to ensure they are resolved to the defined standards of the project. This role requires the ability to create detailed test plans, bug reports, and other project documentation.
