About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project delivery including operational and financial delivery.
Key tasks:
- Organise, lead and control the project efficiently and effectively.
- Own & manage the support of the project delivery team in all day to day delivery related activities to ensure success.
- Accountable for the financial control measures and ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with agreed cost baselines.
- Support all pricing and bid works with knowledge of industry best practice and current company policies and capabilities when required.
- Work with the SHEQs Manager/department on all matters regarding the day to day delivery of projects relating to safety of the field teams.
- Work with the technical services manager on all matters regarding the day to day delivery of projects relating to technical and quality delivery by the field teams.
- Provide support to members of the company delivery team as and when required.
- Be the main point of influence regarding the direction of project delivery.
- Be the main company interface on matters regarding framework agreements and contracts.
- Receive & validate all relevant instructions from the client where required.
- Ensure data integrity is maintained across all company and supplier tools
- Ensure that all 3rd party supplier POs are in place and closed as and when required.
- Provide high level project reporting to both internal and external stakeholders
- Understand, adhere to, and promote company policies and processes.
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by the business
Qualifications and experience:
- Must have held a similar position previously
- Have proven experience in telecoms industry
- Demonstrate proven experience in the UK cellular and/or fixed line market
- Ideally hold a formal project management qualification
- Ideally hold a formal H&S qualification
