They’re looking for a Senior Pre-sales Consultant to join the Commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Director and supporting the Head of Marketing, you’ll lead the growth and expansion of the agency by acquiring exciting new clients to work with. You’ll spot opportunities to promote the company’s service offering and create valuable new relationships.

Job Role:
- Support the growth and expansion of the company through the acquisition of new business within the commercial team
- Generate revenue for the Agency through initiatives which support the development of the business
- Create opportunities to promote their service offering
- Establish high-quality on-going relationships and seek additional opportunities to extend service uptake
- Work closely with their marketing team to ensure all sales initiatives support the Agency’s growth objectives, service offering and capability
- Work with the Commercial Team to shape and refine an overarching sales & marketing strategy
Key Responsibilities:
New business development
- Generating sales activity by way of pre-qualifying leads and providing sales follow-up for all leads (organic, paid, owned and referred)
- Working with the Commercial Director and Head of Marketing to ensure maximising the opportunity to create sales from all marketing activity
- Contribution of ideas and insight in support of the development of a successful Agency marketing strategy
- Maintenance of commercial relationship throughout the sales process including post-sale
- Ensure relevant teams are involved during the sales process
- Leading effective implementation, development and use of adopted agency CRM
- Gather appropriate intelligence and insight to impress prospects with a fast effective and appropriate response
- Lead and attend meetings and events with the Agency’s prospective clients, during working hours but also outside of regular work hours as dictated by circumstance
- Proactively handle leads received by the agency and manage allocation within the commercial team based on opportunity ‘tier’ and resource availability
Growth & opportunities
- Responsible for generating sales income
- Communicating any upcoming changes to income/ billing schedules to the Commercial Director
- Proactively develop opportunities to generate revenue from new and existing client initiatives
- Creating/maintaining and evolving effective proposals and working to support the Client Services department when existing clients express an interest in additional services
- Contribution of ideas and initiatives to develop and strengthen sales assets (digital or offline)
- Developing sales initiatives to expand prospective client pool, working in conjunction with the Commercial Director and Head of Marketing
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a digital marketing environment, either in a sales or client service capacity
- Demonstrable knowledge of digital marketing channels
- Sales and negotiation experience with a proven track record of success
- Able to accurately scope prospect requirements and liaise with internal teams to create a fully estimated proposal
- Highly organised with excellent planning skills
- Advanced presentation skills with a confident and enthusiastic manner
- Able to create excellent written documents and presentations
- Capable of handling multiple activities and work calmly under pressure
- Comfortable working as part of a team but able to use initiative and take ownership of activity
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity and professionalism at all times
