Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our vibrant, evolving business as a Senior Payroll Administrator, supporting the successful delivery of multiple payrolls across our business.
Redde Northgate plc is a leading integrated mobility solutions business, providing mobility solutions and automotive services to businesses and customers spanning the vehicle life cycle across vehicle supply, service, maintenance, repair, recovery, accident and incident management and disposal through sale or salvage.
Reporting to our Payroll Manager, you will share responsibility for ensuring a significant number of your colleagues across our operating businesses are paid correctly and on time. You will be predominantly responsible for processing monthly information, including payslips, running reports, dealing with HMRC RTI returns and reconciliations. As a key member of our Payroll team, you will also be in regular contact with colleagues, managers and third parties to resolve queries and issues.
It is an exciting time for us as we are currently implementing a Group-wide HR & Payroll system and you will have opportunity to support the Payroll Management team in delivering this and other projects which improve the delivery and efficiency of the service. It’s a great time to join us!
About You:
- First and foremost, you are an experienced payroll professional with a proven background in similar a fast-paced environment operating a large corporate payroll
- You can demonstrate a thorough understanding of payroll practices and HMRC regulations including auto-enrolment, PAYE, SMP, SSP, P11ds, P45/P60 etc.
- You are a capable IT user, preferably with a working knowledge of Civica and/or i-Trent software along with other mainstream packages (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
- You have experience of producing reports and MI for managers to monitor business performance and costs
- You have a team-focused, resourceful and independent approach to managing your own workload and resolving issues
- You get involved in every part of payroll – you lead by example, setting high standards for yourself and others and love to share your knowledge with those around you
- Above all, you are customer-focused, aiming to provide a great service every time
