Oxbury is a professional practice of Chartered Surveyors looking to recruit an Associate or Senior Level Project Surveyor to work in the role of Employer’s Agent / Project Manager. We operate from our offices in Norwich, Cambridge, Chelmsford and London, providing the full range of Project Management, Employer’s Agent and Cost Management (Quantity Surveying) services for a wide spectrum of public, private and commercial clients. We work in multiple sectors: Residential; industrial; commercial, infrastructure; education and leisure. We support our clients to build everything from carbon-neutral social housing and schools; through to prestige-brand manufacturing facilities and cutting-edge high-tech developments.
You will be responsible as Employer’s Agent / Project Manager for the day to day management of construction schemes from inception to completion, including for large, complex or unusual schemes. You will work with a team and will help to train our Apprentice Surveyors. You will also be involved in business development and raising the profile of the Company in order to secure new commissions. Candidate Requirements / Experience in the following:
You’ll need to be either RICS, CIOB or APM professionally qualified or have an equivalent level of knowledge and have experience with a private practice or consultancy. You’ll have significant experience in the role of a Project Manager and / or Employer’s Agent and be able to demonstrate your skills in traditional, Design & Build and NEC procurement and contract administration. You’ll have experience in the residential and education sectors and if you’ve worked in other sectors that would be a bonus.
