Job Title: Senior IT Support Analyst
Location: London, E8 – London Fields
Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per annum based on prior experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
The Company is a small but fast growing IT consultancy and it’s now looking for a dynamic individual to work with the Managing Director and Service Delivery Manager to complete customer projects and provide technical support to the service desk. This is a role which they see developing in importance and responsibilities directly with the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering customer improvement projects across a range of physical and cloud-based infrastructures
- Working with members of the support team in troubleshooting and resolving issues for Clients
- Business-As-Usual system administration tasks for client servers, workstations and network devices including patching, firmware updates and proactive monitoring
- Providing an escalation point for support cases if not resolved quickly by 1st and 2nd line support
- Assist the Service Delivery Manager in recommending, building and documenting enhancements to ensure that IT capacity meets current and future client requirements
The Candidate:
Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
- Microsoft Office 365 administration: Exchange Online, Skype for Business / Teams, SharePoint Online
- Network troubleshooting and support, experience of VLANs, VPNs, VOIP beneficial
- Experience of supporting Windows 7 to 10 and MacOS clients
- Experience of supporting Windows Server 2003 to 2019, Hyper-V, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, RADIUS
- Experience of a wide variety of IT projects, exposure to the setup and on boarding of new sites beneficial
- Proactive work ethic, punctual and thorough worker, with good attention to detail
- Experience of working in a MSP environment preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of the following products would also be useful: Azure, Mimecast, ESET, Unifi, Draytek, Linux, SQL
