The Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a QA Software Tester to join our IT Team. The role is a perfect opportunity for an experienced QA Software Tester to ensure AHK’s business systems perform at the highest level expected. As part of the Software Development/QA team, you will develop, document and execute test plans and test cases ensuring that the appropriate level of testing has been performed. You will work closely with the development team and business analysts to ensure the system meets the highest of standards prior to release. You will also communicate any failure to meet these high standards efficiently, using tracking systems for team visibility.
Required Knowledge/Work Experience:
Essential:
- Must have current experience as a QA Software Tester
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience configuring and setting up test environments and managing them effectively
- Experience with the design, documentation and configuration of test data
- Experience maintaining regression scripts to reflect current system behaviour
- The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes.
Desirable:
- Experience of Agile, Scrum and Stand-Ups
- ISTQB qualification in software testing
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Experience with tools such as JIRA and Google apps
