Beststart HR supports businesses spanning the country with all their HR needs specifically tailored to their business and industry. Working predominantly with companies with 30-250 employees, across a range of industries, our HR Consultants advise boards and senior managers on how to work with their people to best protect the interests of the business and to drive productivity.
The Role:
Our HR Consultant role provides excellent experience of work across the complete spectrum of HR disciplines. You will be solving people challenges framed by widely varying cultures and differing commercial factors leading to your HR knowledge and skillset being tested and developed at a much-accelerated pace to an in-house generalist HR role.
Our HR Consultants work from our office in Stevenage, their homes and on our client sites. We have a hybrid working pattern; however, being flexible and able to work across all these locations is essential to enable us to maintain our team dynamics. The travel to client premises may involve regular commuting to locations that are usually within 1.5 hours of Stevenage but may, from time to time and for the limited period of a particular project, be further afield or include overnight stays.
The Candidate:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced HR generalist who has operated as a HR Manager or Business Partner to join our growing team of HR Consultants. Any direct consultancy experience would be a bonus but is not essential. You will be well versed in many of the following HR disciplines and the commercial dynamics that would impact your approach: Talent and Performance Management, Employment Law and Employee Relations, Reward and Remuneration, Learning and Development, People Strategy Development.
