Oxbury is a professional practice of Chartered Surveyors looking to recruit an Project Surveyor or Senor Project Surveyor to work in the role of Employer’s Agent / Project Manager. We operate from our offices in Norwich, Cambridge, Chelmsford and London, providing the full range of Project Management, Employer’s Agent and Cost Management (Quantity Surveying) services for a wide spectrum of public, private and commercial clients. We work in multiple sectors: Residential; industrial; commercial, infrastructure; education and leisure. We support our clients to build everything from carbon-neutral social housing and schools; through to prestige-brand manufacturing facilities and cutting-edge high-tech developments.
You will be responsible as Employer’s Agent / Project Manager for the day to day management of construction schemes from inception to completion including pre and post contract duties. You will work as part of a team and help to support the development of our Apprentices. You will also be involved in business development in order to secure new commissions. Candidate Requirements / Experience in the following:
You’ll need to be either RICS, CIOB or APM professionally qualified or be working towards your APC, or have an equivalent level of knowledge. You must have experience with a private practice or consultancy. You’ll have experience in the role of a Project Manager and / or Employer’s Agent and be able to demonstrate your skills in traditional, Design & Build and NEC procurement and contract administration. You’ll have experience in the residential and education sectors and if you’ve worked in other sectors that would be a bonus.
