Due to business growth and demand we are currently looking for a Senior Design Engineer to work within our expanding design team to help develop innovative new products that exceeds expectations and helps support our vision of excellence and quality.
Our designers will develop products from initial concepts through to manufacture using their abilities to ensure seamless integration of future generations of our products.

The role
- Plan design projects from concept to sale
- Use your knowledge of mechanical engineering and the injection moulding process for product optimisation to improve both design and performance
- Work with our in-house specialists to develop products that maintain highest standards
- Take an active, hands-on role to ensure all engineering problems are resolved thoroughly
- Design and build prototypes of chosen concepts
- Use our established test processes, best engineering practice and discipline to deliver robust solutions in agreed timescales
- Understand tolerance analysis and design manufacture principles
The Ideal candidate
- Relevant qualification at either degree level or HND
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Design Engineer position
- 3D CAD experience
- A working history with flow control, water flow or valve design
- Previous experience of mechanical engineering
- Good communications skills including presentations
- Well organised
- Good IT skills
- Have attention to detail
