Job Title: Senior Claims Handler / Technical Team Leader
Location: West Malling, Kent
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 dependant on experience
Position: Full Time/ Part-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
They are looking for an experienced Claims Technician / Technical Supervisor to support their commercial desktop operation based at the Company’s head office in West Malling, Kent.
Key Requirements:
- Manage a mixed portfolio of property damage claims
- Provide technical oversight and leadership to the desktop adjusting team
- In depth understand of policy application and indemnity considerations essential
- Strong background of first party property damage claims in the commercial arena required, with domestic experience desirable
- Experience of third party property damage claims is desirable but not essential
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop others is required
- An inquiring, investigative mind, with a track record of identifying fraud and anticipating other issues before they arise
- A proactive approach to claims management with excellent customer service skills essential
An experienced material damage claims handler able to operate in an environment of complex and varied client requirements. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing a mixed portfolio of claims across a broad value range and be confident handling commercial property claims up to £50,000. Previous experience of coaching or mentoring less experienced colleagues is also a requirement of the role.
