Uniting pensions consultancy, workplace savings and individual financial advice, they work with employers, trustees and private clients through their regional UK offices to design and manage solutions that meet their unique needs.
Role Overview:
They are looking for an experience Senior Associate to join their Employee Benefits team. The job purpose is to achieve individual targets and assist in achieving team targets by supporting the effective management of existing client accounts, whilst paying due regard to the needs of the client and keeping strictly to the principles of treating customers fairly.
Important aspects of the role will be the ability to build effective relationships with other team members, provide support to more senior employee benefits team members and proactively develop skills to make an increasing contribution to the Company.
You will need to have experience in a similar role, have strong relationship management skills with a client focussed approach and have proven ability to retain and develop a portfolio of clients.
Key responsibilities & accountabilities:
- Retain and develop a portfolio of clients, producing income up to £200,000 per annum, with minimal supervision, providing clear, suitable, complex advice and service within agreed timescales
- Work in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands, sometimes working to tight deadlines
- Demonstrate good interpersonal and presentational skills in one-to-one and group meetings
- Deliver good written communication in the form of emails, letters, reports and presentations
- Support projects where necessary
- Develop new business opportunities through regular, focused prospecting
- At times, the job holder may have to undertake other activities of a similar nature
- Support the team in the achievement of financial targets
- Recognise business opportunities/risks, bringing them to the attention of EB Consulting management

In addition to the necessary experience, qualifications and academic achievements, the incumbent should be able to demonstrate the following key attributes:

- Studying or willing to study towards relevant industry qualifications, e.g. PMI or CII
