About the role
At Walsall Council ICT, we support and develop a wide range of business applications whist pursuing an ambitious program of work to improve our digital capability.
We are looking for someone that has experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and CRM systems. Are you still with us? Great – this is what we are looking for.
About you:
As a Senior Application Support and Development Specialist, you will be part of the Council’s growing Dynamics Team helping to cultivate the new CRM system and associated processes. As well as supporting ICT applications used by the various business areas of Walsall Council, you’ll also carry out software development activities relating to these Business Applications.
We’re looking for that special team member who has experience in a 3rd line support and development role and be familiar with several of the following development technologies:
- Power Platform – Canvas and Model driven Apps; Dynamics 365; Dataverse
- .Net; C#; ASP.Net Model View Controller (MVC)
- Microsoft Azure DevOps
- SQL; Transact SQL; SQL Server (2012+)
- Power BI; HTML5 & CSS; JavaScript
- Azure Functions; Azure Service Bus; Azure Logic Apps; REST API

For this role the successful candidate(s) must undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.
