We operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.
The Role
This is a great time to join GamCare as we’re recruiting a Learning & Development Administrator which is a newly created opportunity for someone who is a confident communicator, works collaboratively, has a can-do attitude, and enjoys being part of a small team. Due to rapid expansion our team is growing, we are offering the opportunity for you to use your experience of working with stakeholders, both internal and external to implement good practice and create workable solutions.
The L&D Administrator is a crucial role where you will be creating and delivering proactive and comprehensive administration support for the L&D team and the LMS. You’ll be instrumental in coordinating GamCare’s L&D provision ensuring existing colleagues and new joiners are continually supported and engaged with the latest L&D offerings.
About You
As the successful candidate you’ll be as part of a high-performance team, so you’ll need to bring your experience that you’ve gained in a similar role within HR or L&D in a fast paced, agile environment. Ideally, you’ll have knowledge and experience of using and maintaining an LMS along with a working knowledge of Learning Pool LMS combined with a strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages.
With demonstrable experience of managing multiple stakeholders in a dynamic organisation you will have honed your skills in operational support and administration which will have given you the tools to update spreadsheets, populate reports, collate and report data findings to various targeted audiences. This is a busy role, so you will have strong administrative and organisational skills, along with the ability to prioritise workloads and multi-task.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide efficient administrative support to the Learning & Development Team.
- To assist with all pre & post-course administration, including chasing feedback, collating feedback, and providing post-course customer service and liaising with trainers to ensure that attendance is returned.
- To provide support to all Gamcare staff regarding any queries/issues on the LMS
- To maintain and update the LMS including setting up new courses, pre course material uploads, creating new users, manage waiting list, updating attendance etc
- To assist with booking Gamcare staff on external training courses and events
- To provide support at meetings, training events and promotional events when required
