Job Title: Senior Accounts Assistant / Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: City of London
Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
As a Senior Accounts Assistant you will be part of the company’s finance team, assisting with and contributing to the credit control process and sales ledger administration.
Key Duties:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be provided training to fulfil the below responsibilities:
- Deal efficiently with any Customer queries regarding their accounts (mainly via AR inbox)
- Making outbound calls to customers to collect outstanding invoices
- Sales ledger imports and direct debit collections
- Sales Ledger reconciliations
- Build relationships with billing and sales account managers
- Raising ad hoc sales invoices
- Auto generate letters and statements
- Assisting MA & FC with month end close
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with project administration on Sage
- Credit Card and expenses checking and posting
- Assisting in project rollouts/ upgrades
- Ad hoc work to support the MA and FC
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have at least 4-5years of demonstrable experience in an accounts related position.
Other desirable credentials will be:

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Customer account reconciliations
- A team player who is willing to get involved in other duties outside their day to day role.
