Job Title: Semi Supported Living Home Manager
Location: Milton-Keynes
Salary: £24k – £30k per annum DOE

The Company:
Due to expansion, we are looking for a Home Manager or an experienced Senior that is ready for the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have the responsibility for the management and leadership of our supported living services within the Home. Supporting the young people and staff, reporting to the Operations Director.
Our well-established company have two semi supported living provisions in the Northwest and are looking to expand in the Milton Keynes area. This role is an exciting opportunity, as the successful candidate will be with the business from the starting phase of this expansion.
Our company provides semi supported living for young people aged between 16/18 years old, we specialise in supporting young people and assisting them with employment, education, self-esteem, independence, mental health and preparing them for their next step to adulthood.
The role will include –
- Completing weekly reports
- Checking all required paperwork completed by staff is to a high standard
- Rota’s and delegation of workload
- Managing a staffing team, supervisions, appraisals etc
- Support young people where required, vitals skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, housekeeping, making appointments etc
- Ensuring all staff are up to date with training and implementing further training to suit young people’s needs
- Working closely with Social Workers and other external agencies
The ideal candidate will –
- Be eager to make a difference
- Have previous experience within Semi Supported living (advantage) or experience working with young people
- Have a good knowledge of safeguarding and whistleblowing
- Can provide a high level of support to the young people
- Have experience of managing a team
- Health and Social level 3 or above
- Confident in report writing
- Strong communication and leadership skills
