About the role:
We are currently recruiting a Security Officer to join us on a permanent basis. You will be required to undertake security patrols, manage visitors to site and provide a safe and secure working environment for our colleagues and anyone present on site.
This role is worked over a continental (four on/four off) 12-hour shift pattern which operates 06:00 to 18:00 or 18:00 to 06:00.
The responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Carry out routine patrols of site
- Monitor the site using CCTV and reporting any concerns to line management
- Check in visitors to site and brief them on the key site safety rules.
- Take appropriate actions in relation to suspected security breaches from visitors or
Colleagues
- Issue keys to authorized personnel and to maintain records.
- Conduct searches of either vehicles, buildings, or personnel
- To liaise with site electricians in the weekly fire alarm testing procedure
- Carrying out key security procedures such as Bomb Threat and Site Emergency Procedures
Operate
- Control all vehicular access to the site
- Managing incoming/outgoing post
About you:
* Right to live and work in the UK
* SIA license desirable but not essential
* Proficient in MS Office
