Job Title: Security Guard
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £11.22 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. Shifts are 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off. Approx 42 hours per week.

About the Role:
To work as part of the security team and ensure the site is always maintained in a safe manner. Raise and communicate any issues and problems with the team leader and help solve any issues that arise during the day-to-day operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Day to Day Operations:
To work in a busy security gatehouse, monitoring the access and egress of vehicles, daily issuing of passes to contractors and visitors. Ensure that the sites security is being upheld and managing any incidents in a calm and professional manner.
Principal Responsibilities
- Work alongside the full shift guard in all security duties
- Monitor site visitors, contractors, and employees
- Conduct safety patrols
- Monitor CCTV and react to any incidents accordingly
- Liaise with the emergency services
- Securing site (Opening / Locking up)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Familiar with Gatehouse procedures
- Familiar with Security systems, equipment, policies and procedures
- Familiar with Administration systems (Word, Excel)
- SIA Approved
- 1st Aid trained
Essential / Desirable
- Security staff, must be able to successfully achieve the relevant security clearances
- CCTV license is desirable, but training can be provided if required
- Full UK driving license
