Job Title: School Cleaner
Location: Westerham
Salary: £14,827 per year / £10.00 per hour.
Job Type: Part Time. This role is Term Time + 4 weeks, 30 hours per week – 06.00am to 12.30pm. (43 working weeks and 7.14 weeks paid holiday)
Join our friendly Domestic team in the picturesque setting of Valence School, located in Westerham, Kent. Valence School is a Kent County Council Foundation residential and day Special School for students from age 4 to 19 with physical disabilities, complex medical needs and associated learning difficulties. We are part of the Kent Special Educational Needs Trust (KsENT) and have a large, dedicated staff team of over 200 people providing specialist teaching, social care, therapies and nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
As a School Domestic Assistant, you will be required to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in clinical, office, residential and teaching areas. The requirements for this role will include you to:
- Have knowledge of methods of cleaning different areas/surfaces;
- Be aware of Health & Safety requirements;
- Be able to work confidently as part of a team and individually;
- Be self-motivated, personable and have a proactive, positive attitude.
