Job Title: Telephone Sales Team Manager

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum plus Fantastic Bonus Opportunity
Job Type: Full time, Permanent (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm)

The Role:
The role of Telephone Sales team Manager is to lead, manage and develop a B2B telephone based direct sales team based in Croydon, London. They are seeking a highly motivated, flexible and successful individual with a proven track record in sales delivery, telephony team management, and demonstrable leadership and coaching skills.
The role will be office based with irregular travel. You must be an excellent communicator, high and regular achiever against targets and be able to influence potential new prospects and valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and measure sales campaigns and activities, working in conjunction with the National Corporate Sales, Customer Services and Marketing teams
- Aim to surpass company sales targets by setting clear objectives for direct reports alongside robust key performance indicators
- Manage day-to-day performance of all sales team members to maximise productivity, activity, sales results and lead generation
- Lead team members to deliver webinar training and sales sessions for both new and existing customers
- To lead by example in securing new business and developing ideas and strategies to increase business levels
- Lead and support team members with various projects and sales campaigns to support company sales strategy
- Support and potentially present at their annual company national roadshow, partner events and other sales activities as required
- Drive, monitor and deliver volume outbound calls to generate new business opportunities across the core product area
The Candidate:
Communication Skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
- The ability to develop relationships with stakeholders to maximise opportunities and sales campaigns.
- Manage upselling opportunities with both new and existing clients.
- Support and lead teams with latest thinking and sales techniques
Analytical and Campaign Management Skills
- Lead, manage and develop teams to deliver agreed targets and objectives
- Update all internal systems to properly track potential customer and customer contacts
- Monitor performance against individual campaigns and produce reporting on performance and outcomes both on a team and individual level
- Communicate to all levels of the business on performances of individual campaigns
Key Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in a supervisory position in the UK mortgage Industry and previous experience working with mortgage distributors
- Management Information analysis experience
- Ability to work well and thrive in a successful team environment and be a key team player within the sales function
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Must be professional, personable and a good communicator
- CeMap – desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
