About the role:
The fundamental brief for this position is to effectively manage a team of Customer Relationship Executives and Operations Assistants to bring sales and operations together ensuring that all customers receive first-class service.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving a sales and service culture and will work closely to manage the company’s customer accounts with particular focus on large, new or sensitive customers to ensure retention, repeat business and growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the smooth operation between the Sales and Operations departments resulting in excellent customer service
- Act as the escalation point for customer complaints
- Pay particular attention to the account management of new, large and sensitive accounts.
- Oversee the implementation of key / bespoke customer proposals in conjunction with the Head of Sales.
- Review of data and metrics and use this to focus resource and attention
- Support Marketing by assisting with and following up on marketing campaigns.
- Oversee the development of a sub-contract database.
About you:
- Proven track record in, people management and customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate effectively and build relationships
- Proven track record in successful B2B account management
- An understanding and/or experience of waste transport operations is desirable as is knowledge and understanding of the asbestos market and/or hazardous waste management
- A positive and ‘can do’ attitude
- Commercially driven to make business improvements
- Understanding the importance of and experience of working with a CRM
(Acman is currently being used) - Organised, able to prioritise and manage their and other’s workloads
- Knowledge and understanding of the asbestos market and/or hazardous waste management, solutions and legislation is desirable
- PC literate with good knowledge of IT systems, Microsoft Office suite
