Job Title: Business Development / Sales Executive
Location: Berinsfield; Near Wallingford, Abingdon and Oxford (OX10)
Salary: Dependent on experience

About the role:
Your focus will be growing our existing sales through a combination of increasing current customer orders and bringing on-board new customers. Your responsibilities will also incorporate some customer service and administration tasks including on occasion the processing of sales orders.
Existing Business:
- Work as part of the team to ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service, including dealing with inbound queries, processing orders and invoicing when necessary
- Outbound ‘warm calling’ in order to build relationships with existing customers and finding cross/upsell opportunities for these customers
- Ensuring they are kept up to date with special offers
- Introducing new catalogues and making sure that all customers are aware of new items that have launched
- Supporting Key accounts – Ensuring that these accounts are well looked after and supported whilst working to grow these accounts
New Business Development:
- Outbound calling to lapsed customers to reintroduce them to the company and its products
- Nurture inbound leads and follow them through to secure new orders and grow these relationships
- Researching and contacting potential customers to introduce the company, products and service
- Attending trade fairs – meeting new customers and following them up after the event
- Work to attract new customers using social media and other platforms
You need to have:
- Some experience in a sales-based role
- Confidence, enthusiasm and a polite telephone manner
- Interest and experience in Food Industry (Preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Relationship building experience
- Excellent planning and organising skills including using a CRM to maximise opportunities
- Tenacity – Willing to follow the sales process through from lead to conversion and follow up
- To be I.T. literate – including the use of Social media and LinkedIn
