Job Title: Internal Sales Engineer
Location: Wokingham, Berkshire
Salary: £25,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
Position: Permanent, Full Time
The Company, based in Wokingham, Berkshire, sell and support world class radar based tank gauging systems to Refineries, Oil distribution terminals, ocean going tankers and LNG carriers.
As part of their continued expansion they are looking to employ both a junior and senior Internal Sales Engineer to be based at their Wokingham office.
The Role:
Internal sales engineers are a key point of contact for their clients and provide both pre- and after-sales technical advice relating to all aspects of a high specification Radar Tank Gauging system. The Internal Sales Engineer must liaise regularly with other members of the sales and service support team and colleagues from a range of key suppliers as well as senior company managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all enquiries from clients on a technical and commercial level
- Raise quotations, purchase orders & invoices
- Ensure smooth shipment of orders to customers
- Liaise with main suppliers in UK & Europe
- General admin duties relevant to the role
The Candidate:
Whilst they do not expect the candidates to have specific instrument or system knowledge they would require an engineering background, qualification and/or knowledge coupled with PC / IT skills. Candidates should be confident, outgoing and keen to listen and interpret customer requirements as well as being methodical with an attention to detail.
