Job Title: Sales Engineer (Instrumentation & Automation)

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000, depending on skills & experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday)

The Company:
The Company is a fast-growing international electronics company, with offices in the UK, USA and Hong Kong, specialising in the design and manufacture of data loggers, smart graphic displays and custom electronics products. They have an ambitious growth plan to develop new products and push into new markets in order to remain at the forefront of the electronics industry. They are looking for a highly motivated, technologically-minded, individual to become part of their growing sales team to drive the company forwards.
The Role:
You will be responsible for finding and winning new sales for their market-leading products and services. You will support the technical and commercial needs of new and existing customers and will represent the company at trade shows and other events in the UK and abroad.
The role is primarily office based at their Head Office in Whiteparish, Salisbury, with approximately 20% travel required.
You will have sales or commercial experience and if you have a technical background in electronics or control and automation that would be an advantage. You must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of the wider sales team. You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to drive.
In return they offer a salary in the region of £28,000 to £32,000 depending on skills and experience, together with an attractive benefits package which includes bi-annual discretionary company bonuses based on profitability. Normal working hours are 8.30am-5.00pm Monday to Friday. You may be required to work outside of standard company hours from time to time.
