Main Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and accurate information about our services.
- Collaborate with the rest of the sales team to support them to generate leads, qualify prospects and secure new business opportunities.
- Maintain and update customer databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations and reports.
- Launching the bid through our formal Gate review process, setting deadlines, chasing progress, chairing meetings, etc.
- Working alongside procurement, produce cost models including options or value add items.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and after-sales support.
- Assist in creating winning commercial proposals, which meet the requirements laid out by the customer both from a technical and commercial perspective.
- Understanding the implications of commercial terms and conditions which may already be in place; negotiating and agreeing new terms with customers where required.
- Post-award, continuing to own the commercial interface with the customer. This may entail attending monthly steering reviews for major programmes or managing contractual changes.
- Identifying additional work, whether side activities or new projects, with the same customer(s) for further development either on your own or alongside the business development team.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Assist with marketing activities and events.

- Confident in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of business principles and sales processes.
- Ability to analyse data and generate meaningful reports.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling customer information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion.
