Job Title: Sales Administrator
Location: Newbury
Salary: £24,000 – £26,000
Job type: Full Time – Permanent
About the role:
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive office support for the Sales Team including collating customer listings, managing stock allocations, creating and maintaining price lists, producing sales figures, helping to produce sales presentations, raising sales orders and credits, liaising with customers and the internal sales and purchasing team.
Key responsibilities:
- ADMINISTRATION: Sales orders, quotation and trial sample management, preparing commercial offers. Support our Business Development Managers when they are on the road. Incoming phone call handling.
- LOGISTICS: Order management, registration, billing and shipping products. Support at all stages of the flow of goods from the manufacturer to end customers. Stock control
- ANALYSIS (Reporting): Preparation of sales statistics on the data provided by the company (this requires optimum use of computer media such as excel and access).
- Evaluates, develops, and improves training programs to enhance organisational understanding and performance.
- Maintains data and keeps records for all business units in an efficient and effective manner
Personal Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to negotiate.
- Organised, accurate and results orientated.
- Experience of working within a sales environment is desirable but not essential.
- Good time management
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Team player
