Location: Homebased with frequent travel to events around the England and Scotland
Salary: £21,000 – £30,000 per annum depending on experience + Quarterly Bonus Based on Performance

Assistive Solutions specialises in supporting individuals eligible for Disabled Students’ Allowances within higher education.
We are a Social Enterprise that works with disabled people, providing specialist computer equipment, 1-1 teaching and have an in-house software development team.

About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic sales professional to join our team, focusing on promoting assistive software solutions to DSA needs assessors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving educational accessibility and an ability to develop a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by students with disabilities in higher education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with DSA needs assessors across the UK.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our assistive software products and their benefits for students with various disabilities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for needs assessors and AT trainers.
- Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and events to promote our software solutions.
- Collaborate with the product development team to gather feedback and suggest improvements based on assessor, AT trainer and student needs.
- Meet sales targets.
- Stay updated on DSA policies, assistive technology trends, and competitor offerings.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts.
About you:
Please note that although experience within Assistive Solutions and DSA Software Solutions is desirable training will be available for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the education or assistive technology sector
- Strong understanding of the DSA process and the role of needs assessors
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in using and demonstrating software applications
- Empathy and sensitivity towards the needs of students with disabilities
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities or in special education
- Knowledge of assistive technologies and their applications in higher education
- Familiarity with DSA funding processes and regulations
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with educational institutions
- Ability to travel frequently within the UK
