Job Title: Safeguarding Adviser
Location: Remote Working, ideally based around Lincolnshire or Peterborough
Salary: £29,636 – £32,029 per annum
Job type: Full time, Permanent (37 hours per week)
In order to continue to develop and improve safeguarding, the Trust, are looking to recruit a Safeguarding Advisor to provide high level, professional safeguarding advice to their Academies.
The Role:
They’re looking for someone who can provide advice to SLT and designated staff on aspects of safeguarding case work and practice and promote good practice in safeguarding across the trust. The successful candidate will also be required to deliver high quality training to professionals through the Learning Alliance.
You will be an integral part of the Safeguarding Directorate and act as a representative for the Education Support Team. The trust operates across the East Midlands and are looking for someone to be based in the Lincolnshire or Peterborough region, however you will also be required to travel to any of the academies and their Nottingham central office from time to time. Therefore, due to the travel requirements of this role, a full driving licence and own transport is essential.
The Candidate:
You will need to be well versed in all safeguarding policies and procedures and have a working knowledge of current guidance and legislation as well as a collaborative management style in order to provide expert advice, guidance and training. They’re looking for an individual who is passionate about the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults and is able to remain resilient when managing sensitive and confidential issues.
