Job Title: Routes to Work Adviser
Salary: Up to £26,064 depending on experience.
Location: Office base High Wycombe, with travel to Aylesbury and other Buckinghamshire locations. Possibility of ad hoc home working by arrangement.

Job Summary:
To work as part of the Oasis Routes to Work project, supporting our Building Futures contract and other funded programmes. We work across Buckinghamshire with a particular need for support in Aylesbury and High Wycombe. This role supports people to gain employment, start an education or training course, gain volunteering or work experience through 1:1 and group activity.
We are seeking someone with community and employability insight, to support our participants in 1:1 and group settings, helping them move into work or relevant experience. You will know how to use information and record-keeping to achieve the best participant experience. You will go the extra mile for people, whilst understanding appropriate boundaries. You will be joining a committed team, continually growing knowledge, and making partnership links to help their customers.
Person Specification:
- Experience of promoting and developing employability or related programmes and opportunities
- Experience of case management, action planning & target setting
- Able to develop effective working relationships in a variety of settings.
- Understanding of confidentiality as it pertains to vulnerable people.
- Knowledge and understanding of barriers facing job seekers.
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people, staff and volunteers, both verbally and in writing, with evidence of literacy and numeracy skills to support this.
- Understanding of safeguarding legislation and practice.
- Awareness of Health and Safety, risk assessments and professional boundaries.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Adaptability in a challenging and changeable environment.
- Ability to deliver against agreed objectives and targets.
