Job type: Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week over a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday

The role:
We are currently on the hunt for a highly experienced Router with at least two years of working experience within an aerospace/manufacturing environment.
The Routing Operator has the responsibility of ensuring workflows through the Routing department and jobs are taken to the next operation in line with production requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Carry out first off, FAIRS and batch inspections daily.
- Machining parts for aircraft to meet customer requirements/specifications.
- Routing parts in accordance with industry standards and processes.
- Undertaking Routing tasks delegated by the Senior Cell Leader, Team Leader &/or Senior Management.
- Ensuring own performance within the Routing team is of a high standard whilst meeting production targets and deadlines.
- Use Personal Protective Equipment, monitor and maintain health and safety standards.
- The post-holder must be able to work within an industrial environment.

When you are working:
- 4-day week Monday to Thursday 07:15 am to 5:00 pm totalling 37 hours weekly.
- Overtime is available from Friday to Sunday at premium rates of pay.

- Holidays start at 28 days per year (including Bank Holidays) (Based on 4 days working week)
- Overtime rates after basic hours are 1.5 of your basic hourly rates, and Fridays and Saturdays
- Overtime rates for Sundays are 2.0 of your basic hourly rates.
