Job Title: Calibration Technician (RF)
Location: Cardiff, South Wales
Salary: Negotiable, Dependant on experience
Job Type: Permanent, full time (37.5 hrs p/w)
The Company:
Allied Aerosystems Limited based in Treforest, Pontypridd specialise in the calibration and repair of test equipment from all sectors of aerospace, engineering, automotive and manufacturing
The role:
We are seeking to appoint a RF Calibration Technician to undertake the test and calibration of RF Test Equipment and general-purpose test equipment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to use a variety of measurement equipment, in a precision measurement environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in calibration is essential and we would welcome applications with previous experience working in the RF field.
- An understanding of the application and the use of electronic test equipment is essential; and it would be advantageous to have an understanding of the various measurement techniques.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- The ideal candidate will be able to work unsupervised/independently, be self-motivated and committed to their self-development.
- The ability to adapt to a changing environment, undertake a challenge, remain calm whilst under pressure are important qualities of the role.
