Job Title: Telesales / Retail Sales Executive

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Salary: £17,000 – £20,000 (up to £100,000 OTE)

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30; Fridays 09:00 – 17:00)

The Yorkshire-based Company is a successful supplier of bulk-purchase FMCG. Their clients include major UK wholesalers and independent buying groups and they also export to more than 100 countrIes worldwide. All their brands and products are developed and specified in Britain.

Their products are in-demand and they’re growing. As a result, they’re currently looking for an experienced and talented B2B telesales executive to join the outbound sales team based at their Bradford headquarters. They’re offering a standard Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm working pattern, an excellent basic, uncapped commission and genuine opportunities for progression.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for generating new B2B sales leads and expanding our customer base
  • You will be working through a database of potential customers and cold calling prospective client businesses around the UK asking open questions to understand their needs, wants and challenges in relation to our product categories and competitors
  • You will be organising call-back dairies and updating the CRM system
  • You will spend the majority of your time identifying and qualifying leads before passing them across to sales colleagues – but you also need to capable of closing the sale whenever the opportunity arises
  • You will help grow our pipeline of potential sales opportunities and warm leads

The Candidate:

  • You will have at least 12 months experience in a similar telesales or customer contact role
  • You will be enthusiastic, confident, articulate and have great interpersonal skills
  • You will be ambitious, self-motivated, resilient and tenacious
  • You are able to think on your feet but take an organised and planned approach to your work and have an excellent telephone manner
