The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed visual and performing arts centre situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.
The Role:
We are looking for a Retail Manager to manage our gift shop, providing a key role in the overall experience of our visitors. By developing an exciting and varied selection of merchandise, you will be responsible for ensuring the cohesiveness of our brand identity, whilst also maximising profits generated through our retail activities, including our Gift Shop, online trading, and our licencing agreements.
About you:
The role requires excellent communication skills to lead, motivate and develop the retail team. The successful candidate will be a true “people person”, able to take a hands on approach to managing all aspects of The Lowry’s retail experience. The ideal candidate should also have previous experience of working in a retail environment at a gallery, museum or similar tourist attraction.

You will be required to work on a flexible rota pattern, which includes working weekends, bank holidays and evenings where required.
