We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join us as a Waking Nights Support Worker. You will be working across our supported living service in Radstock providing person-centred support to people with a range of needs. This is a great opportunity for individuals to join a friendly, supported and experienced team.
As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting people in their own homes
- Assisting with domestic duties
- Helping the people we support with evening and morning routine
- Monitoring the people we support through the night
- Maintaining relevant documentation
- Personal care
As an organisation we don’t ask for specific skills or experience but we are looking for candidates with a passion for providing first class care, a friendly and conversational nature and the ability to act as a calming influence. If you can combine these qualities with reliability and good organisational skills you will have ingredients to make a fantastic Waking Nights Support Worker. Previous experience of working within the social care sector would be beneficial but is not compulsory.
Pay and Benefits:
In return for your dedication as a Support Worker you will receive:
- £9.80 per hour
- 20 days paid annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays, pro rata for part time), which increases after 3 and 5 years’ service
