LAH provide front of house receptionists and marketing representatives for premium commercial office schemes, working with Landlords, Investors and Property Management Companies. We’ve been established for over 35 years and as an independent, nationwide business, we recognise the importance of everyone who works for us.

Our Regional Managers are responsible for Client liaison and the management, support and welfare of our reception teams and marketing representatives, who work at premium office locations within a regional portfolio.

What we’re looking for:

We have an opportunity for a Regional Assistant, working 2.5 days pw and based in Manchester. You will provide vital administration and project support to the Regional Manager/Deputy Regional Manager.

This is an amazing role, offering variety and responsibility. It’s an integral part of the business, helping to ensure the region operates efficiently. We’re looking for someone to ‘own’ and shape the role – with the opportunity for personal development and increased responsibility.

If you are a dynamic and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has access to a car and is prepared to travel to Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Chester and Harrogate to meet business needs, we invite you to apply and be part of our dedicated team.

Hours and Salary:

2.5 days per week, with flexibility based on reception cover or emergency requests *8 hours per day (*hours/start times may vary to meet business needs).

Working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday AM (20 hours per week)

£14,873 per annum (equivalent to £29,744 for full time role)

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll be highly organised and relish day to day processes and managing operational documents; shared files; H&S procedures and welfare assessments. You’ll learn how to use and manage our in-house system (PARiM) to enable holiday planning and absence management for the region
  • You will enjoy assisting our reception teams with site documents including content for an internal communication platform and with the copy checking of weekly reports and proof-reading site newsletters
  • You will build relationships with the regional reception teams and the Head Office operation team. You’ll accompany the Regional Manager on welfare visits to reception teams and/or visit independently. You will also be willing to learn about their role and to step-in and help with reception cover in emergency situations – so flexibility and being a real team player is a key part of the role
  • You’ll enjoy taking on ad hoc regional projects and like to explore new ‘ways of working’ – contributing to ideas for improving regional efficiencies
  • You’ll be mobile and work remotely (at home or at one of our reception locations)

About you:

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and confident using social media/apps
  • Strong administration skills
  • Organised with great time management
  • Comfortable working unsupervised and remotely (home /site)
  • Not fazed by independent travel to regional locations
  • A positive personality and a real team player
  • Enjoy meeting and assisting colleagues
  • Flexible, adaptable
  • Immaculately presented – represent LAH

What’s on offer:

  • This is a part time role working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday AM (20 hours per week)
