Job Title: Refurbishment Technician
Location: Wokingham
Salary: £19,200 (£9.98 per hour).
Job type: Permanent, Full time.
The Role:
37hrs a week, Monday-Thursday 9am-5.30pm, Friday 9am-5pm, Occasional Saturday / Holiday cover may be required
The Refurbishment / Repair Technicians role is the first phase in our processing procedures. As part of a team, you will work with your fellow technicians to identify any faults with a variety of consumer products, grade products in preparation for sale, or prepare them for repair.
The variety of consumer goods products we deal with ranges from small kitchen appliances to games consoles, that all need to be cleaned, tested and graded. Some will require basic repairs. We are looking for individuals who can troubleshoot product faults during the refurbishment process and who have a good eye for detail from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Quickly identifying product faults
- Grading and preparing for resale
- Testing returned items to identify / confirm fault
- Sorting and cleaning products
- Putting away products in our warehouse
- Assisting our logistics team during busy periods
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Good literacy and communication skills
- General PC knowledge and familiarity with MS Office suite
- Previous experience of working in a factory or warehouse environment and experience with electrical / electronic testing is useful but not essential
