APT Renovation – Design & Build offer full-service design and build services tailor-made to your personal needs. As a team, we have over 20 years of combined experience in modelling, designing and building beautiful homes across South West London. Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.
Introduction:
We are looking for a Head of Recruitment to actively source candidates for a variety of roles within our organisation including, but not limited to, architects, land buyers, estate agents, project managers, construction managers, quantity surveyors, health & safety advisor and construction workers such as carpenters, plumbers, etc.
It will be your responsibility to ensure that APT Renovation attracts, selects, and retains the best possible talent in the marketplace. You will play a key role in ensuring the Group is well positioned to achieve its commercial objectives. Also able to recruit a high calibre of roles. Without resorting to recruitment agencies.
About the role
Main duties
- Proactively develop initiatives to attract the best talent without resorting to recruitment agents.
- Ensure that all job adverts are full SEO optimised.
- Develop the recruitment strategy for the Group.
- Support hiring managers with the recruitment process.
- Focus on direct methods of recruitment.
- Attend management meetings.
- Create talent plans for all roles.
- A background in the construction industry would be preferable.
About you
- Previous experience as an in-house recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist/Partner.
- Senior recruitment or management experience.
- Experience of pro-actively recruiting difficult to fill roles through LinkedIn.
- Up to date with employment law and best recruitment practice.
- Highly effective communicator at all levels.
- Must have a high attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Proficient in writing engaging job adverts.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Competent at dealing with ever changing demands.
