Job Title: Recruitment Consultant

Location: Hybrid/London – Monday, Tuesday & Thursday in the office

Salary: £30,000 – £35,00 basic and £64,000 OTE with an un-caped commission structure

Job type: Full Time, 36 hours a week over 4.5 days. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in the office

Key Responsibilities

This role will focus on those Engineers who have completed our Your Return to Tech programme by placing them in organisation’s who are aligned with the values and mission of Tech Returners. You will work across a portfolio of different client bases identifying which Returners are suitable for which opportunities.

You will work alongside the Tech Returners programme delivery and career & mindset team to understand the core skills of each returner and support them in their applications and interviews. Additionally, you will work alongside the Northcoders and Tech Returners Sales teams, generating opportunities for these engineers.

We believe these needs someone with:

  • At least 2 years’ successful experience within either a recruitment agency or internal talent acquisition team, supporting candidates to prepare for their interviews and generating job opportunities.
  • You will be a Diversity inclusion and equity advocate.
  • Understanding of inclusive hiring processes
  • Excellent B2B skills, with an empathetic and considered approach to your communication.
  • Have a Growth Mindset approach to Business Development, building progressive, Influential, and collaborative relationships.
  • Experience of using an ATS, we use PinPoint and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Experience of supporting candidates through both behavioural and technical interviews.

You will be a good fit for this role if you.

  • Make values-based decisions when working with Returner and businesses.
  • Have a creative approach.
  • Have excellent Commercial Acumen and be financially astute – you will own your earnings.
  • Are personally aware and demonstrate what is required for internal and external collaboration.
  • Understanding of what effort this role requires and the drive to make it happen.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

We prefer experience, achievement and values fit over formal qualifications.

  • Understand of the technology recruitment industry and best practices
  • Know how to generate new sales, by bringing on board new job opportunities for the Returners
  • Understanding of the technology industry and digital delivery challenges
  • An understanding of the different levels of Software Engineers and tech stacks.
