Blueshift Education is the premier go-to resource for London schools and parents, providing coding clubs, camps, online classes and private tuition for creative and curious children aged 5 to 14. We also host a range of corporate workshops for older keen learners.
Our mission is to empower students to become “creators” of technology rather than “consumers”. We are a young, dynamic company based in West London and have a dedicated community of 50+ teachers that we connect to parents, schools and children

The role:
We’re looking for a smart and reliable individual to join our team who can assist in managing our growing teacher community and products. The position is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role where you will be working with colleagues to develop our teacher community and manage the customer experience and journey. You will report directly to the L&D Manager and Head of Operations.

Desirable Qualities:
- Previous experience in Recruitment, HR and Training or Education
- Experience in using CRM and HR software
- Experience using Slack and Asana
- Ability to work flexible hours to support the business needs
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Teacher recruitment
- Hitting recruitment targets year round
- Attend recruitment fairs, manage job adverts, manage recruitment partners
Teacher onboarding and training
- Gathering documents and storing them securely
- Processing job and DBS applications
- Ensure teachers perform relevant training
Teacher L&D
- Rolling out the latest training materials
- Helping with teacher appraisals and KPIs
- Ensure and Monitor Teacher Performance
- Manage teachable training materials
Teacher community
- Help develop teacher community culture
- Organise events/socials
- Run weekly/bi-weekly calls with teachers to engage and troubleshoot
- Engage with the teacher community to improve our services
Support
- Managing maintenance of materials on the LMS
- Assist the L&D Manager with tasks and duties
- Assist in answering the phone at busy times
- Support with Blueshift Education products (Tuition, Online Classes, Workshops and Camps)
