Job Title: Quality Manager

Lascar Electronics is a fast-growing international electronics business, with offices in the UK, USA and Hong Kong, specialising in the design and manufacture of data loggers, smart graphic displays and custom electronic products. We are looking for a Quality Manager to champion and support improvement initiatives throughout the company and to ensure that everyone develops and maintains their part of the quality management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, control and assure product and process quality is in line with our quality principles.
- Develop and implement quality programs, including tracking, analysing, problem-solving and reporting.
- Investigate product quality problems, determine root cause, gather and analyse data and implement corrective action to reduce or eliminate the cause.
- Work closely with our Head of Operations to identify and resolve production and quality system deficiencies.
Key Skills:
- A solid commitment to quality and delivering consistency
- A detailed understanding of the electronics or mechanical industry.
- The ability to communicate effectively and respectfully while balancing multiple points of view and maintaining clarity.
- Computer literate, with the ability to use all aspects of MS Office.
- The ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure.
- Experience/understanding of ISO 9001 would be beneficial.
