Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Oldham, Manchester
Salary: £16 – £16.50 per hour
Job Type: Full time, permanent – 37.5 hours per week

Job Purpose:
The Inspection department is responsible for the inspection of components to technical specifications, the recording of relevant data, the maintaining and storage of records and liaison with Customer inspection personnel.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the inspection of components to technical specifications, the recording of relevant data, the maintaining and storage of records and liaison with Customer inspection personnel.
- NCR creation and disposition including segregation and quarantine of non-conforming items.
- Use of FARO arm and CMM and other measuring equipment ensuring measuring equipment has a valid calibration date.
- Stage and final inspections of company products as dictated by quality plans, job planning and /or immediate supervisor.
- Goods inwards inspection of bought in items and material.
- Maintenance of records of inspection results as required post inspection activity.
- Maintain good orderly records both electronically and in hard copy format as relevant.
- Liaise with customers as required during customer inspections.
- Support the Company Calibration Process
Skills and experience required:
- Experience gained within a quality / inspection background (Minimum of 3-years’ experience)
- Computer literate (Word / Excel)
- Excellent communication skills
