Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: £13.00 – £15.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. 4-day week with overtime available.

The role & responsibilities:
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, customer process information, ISO Standards and BOM’S
- Liaison with customers, material and sub-contract suppliers
- First off inspection, Patrol inspection, Batch Inspection
- Complete First Article inspection reports to various client specifications
- Goods in inspection and Certification verification
- Calibration
- Communicate with all levels of management
- Previously worked under an ISO controlled system
Knowledge and skills:
- A highly motivated and proactive person who can demonstrate successful experience in a similar role
- You must have previous quality control experience in a subcontract engineering or sheet metal background
- IT literate and fully competent with Microsoft Office packages
- CMM Experience would be favourable
Experience:
- Inspection: 3 years (required)
- Component Measurement: 3 years (required)
