Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector – Electronic Manufacturing Sector
Salary: £16,000 – £20,000
Location: Fordingbridge, Hampshire
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Based in Hampshire, the Company is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced monitoring and data-logging systems, and provides bespoke design and manufacturing services to other market-leading companies.
Purpose of the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business. You will be a key part of the quality assurance team which ensures their products meet the required workmanship and quality standards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To maintain QA standards and procedures in accordance with the Company’s Quality Policy
- To ensure Goods In, First Offs, Inline and Final inspections are carried out
- Ensure your inspection work is completed within the expected time as instructed by the QA Inspection Supervisor
- Ensure that Production Supervisors are aware of any production errors found so they can take appropriate action
- Inform the Quality Manager of any major production errors found so they can take appropriate action
- When required, support other areas of the business when and where the need arises as directed by the Quality Manager
The ideal Candidate will have/ be:
- Has the ability to work both in a team environment and individually
- Have a good understanding of IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 inspection/workmanship standards
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Have good hand-eye co-ordination and the ability to work with small components accurately
- Willing to undertake any training relevant to the role
- Logical and methodical in their approach with a good attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal with a good understanding of written English
