Their expertise lies in the implementation of E2E delivery services in all sectors of the telecommunications industry, specialising in mobile, fixed and optical networks. Drawing on extensive experience and knowledge in large scale multivendor environments, to deliver high quality projects, and solutions that satisfy their customers and importantly their end user.
Job Purpose:
The main purpose of the role is to support the company in the operation of company systems (ISO 9001) covering the effective management of quality. This will include extensive working on live projects across a wide geographical area. To understand, adhere and implement the company quality management system.
Main Responsibilities:
- Generate metrics and trends relating to non-conformances
- Assist the QM to maintain and develop the QMS to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015
- Be able to carry out Quality Investigations, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and creating/managing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
- Assist in setting, promoting and monitoring standards for quality performance for both internal and contractor performance
- Collate and analyse performance data to then drive informed decisions
- Review current work practices to identify improvement opportunities
- Represent the company at customer/contractor meetings and design and deliver presentations as required
- Reduce the incidence of non-conformances by adding your quality experience to the team
- Assist in delivering the internal and external audit programme
- Evaluate non-conformances relating to the product, process, service and Quality System and recommend solutions, corrective action and future preventive actions
- Influence Change
- Assist in maintaining/monitoring document control
- On a day to day basis provide guidance and advice to the team on compliance with statutory requirements and company standards
- To respond to requests for advice which fall within the job holders area of expertise, through discussion with the Quality Manager, and others where appropriate
- Proactively working with operational teams during the project lifecycle to ensure that quality is considered at all stages and that relevant control measures are identified
- Producing a weekly and monthly reports
- Liaising with enforcing authorities as necessary
- Keeping up to date with new legislation and best practices in the industry through regular reading of journals and relevant website/ site visits
- Raise awareness on quality issues through toolbox talks and briefings, delivering training where necessary
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by the QM or SHEQ Director
The Candidate:
- Qualified Quality Auditor
- Good working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
- Previous experience in similar role
- Auditing experience to ISO 9001:2015
- Methodical with close attention to detail
- Be a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Be a proactive team player
- Be passionate about Quality and Continual Improvement
Desirable:
- A member of CQI/IRCA
- An understanding of lean and Six Sigma
- Proficient in Visio
