The role:
We have created a brand-new role of Accreditations Officer to support the Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (QEHS) function in the management and day to day administration of the Company’s formal certification, accreditation and membership portfolios across its operational jurisdictions.
Duties will include:
- Support the preparation, collation and submission of client/supplier PQQ’s
- Manage and provide full administration of accreditation, certification and membership portfolio’s
- Manage the internal accreditations actions and non-conformance register to ensure full compliance within the required timescales
- Manage and monitor all accreditation portals and update with required evidence.
- Manage and scheduled external audits for ISO accreditations
- Support the QEHS function in the effective delivery of external and internal audits
- Support new business tenders and applications
- Administer and manage the supply chain accreditation process, inclusive of supplier reviews and auditing of submitted information in line with internal standards and client requirements.
- Keep detailed records of supply chain accreditations, policies, insurances, and other information as required by the business.
- Raise non-conformance of the supply chain against internal standard to the QESH Director ongoingly.
Essential:
- You must have the right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance of Avonmouth.
- You must have a minimum of 2 years’ proven working experience within an accreditation management role preferably within in the construction or plant hire sector
- IOSH Managing Safely certificate or equivalent
- Good standard of education
- Capability to work under your own volition
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with proactive approach to problem solving
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook
Desirable:
- Environmental or quality-based qualification
- Auditing qualification
- Experience within construction accreditation

Ideally, this is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (40 hours per week), however, we would consider requests for flexible working or reduced working hours (minimum of 30 per week), albeit Monday’s and Fridays would be compulsory working days. Occasional home working will be permitted; however, this is predominately an office-based role.
