About the role:
Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of the role is to test our customer intelligence platform Horizon, SQL database development and integrated CRM or Reporting Applications. This will be delivered, through excellent facilitation of requirements within a team environment, through to the successful completion of all designated Projects, which will be specified, estimated and delivered to schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and Create Test Scenarios for all projects assigned to you
- Assist Test Lead with creation and maintenance of SQL Test Scripts and Automated UI Testing suite
- Support UAT (Defects and Create Test Logs)
- Source sign off on Test Plans and Scenarios from relevant stakeholders
- Ensure Test Plans are always documented in full and populated
- Liaise directly with Business Analysts / Development team as needed to define test scenarios and resolve issues
- Point of contact for UAT resources and support queries of the system
- Assist Test Manager with defining Test Strategy
- Provide Internal / External Support as required via Helpdesk Processes
- Running data processing jobs to assist in the progression of Database Development and Business as Usual Activities as needed
- Draft Test Closure Plans for sign-off from internal and external stakeholders
- Report status to relevant stakeholders in the project highlighting risks and issues within testing as needed

- SQL Testing Experience
- ISEB Software Testing Foundation data qualification
- Test Scenario creation and planning
- Defect Management
- Test Plan and Test Closure reports
- Software Design Lifecycle
- Microsoft SharePoint (Desirable)
- Team Foundation Server (Desirable)
- SQL Automation (Desirable)
- API Testing (Desirable)
- Data Migration / Data Integration (Desirable)
- Python based UI Automation (Desirable)
Attributes
- Knowledge of Digital & Direct Marketing CRM systems/processes would be an advantage
- Experience of data and analytics would be an advantage
