Due to a growing order book, a great opportunity has become available in our procurement department for a Purchaser to join a well-regarded specialist Façade contractor.
This is a varied role working in a friendly and dynamic office. You will be responsible for preparing and issuing enquiries and orders for all required products and services. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation with great potential for career progression opportunities.
About the Role
- Scheduling enquiries and orders from our detailed design drawings.
- Effectively plan works in conjunction with Surveying and Operations departments to ensure budget requirements and delivery dates are achieved.
- Working through technical information and drawings and specifying correct materials.
- Building and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Ordering of supplier products and services.
- Working closely with management to continually improve processes and systems.
About the Candidate
- Excellent communication skills.
- Have a good understanding of the specific terminology used within the industry.
- Able to demonstrate commitment and drive at the same time as flexibility.
- Good knowledge of MS Office packages.
- Excellent attention to detail and planning skills.
- Strong administration experience that includes accurate data entry and the ability to spot discrepancies is essential.
- Motivated to learn and continually develop.
