Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Holmfirth (Office Based)

Salary: Dependant on experience

Job type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours: 40 hours, Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm

An opportunity has arisen in financial management at an internationally renowned dairy, based in West Yorkshire.

Working within a small team you are supporting others and you will need to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You will have an interest in collating and data entry in addition to excellent administration skills, adaptability and flexibility. This role is ideally suited to someone who has the ability, experience and skill to help to manage, continually improve and introduce new systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, coding invoices
  • Ensuring invoices are authorised by the relevant person
  • Accurate data entry
  • Scanning and filing invoices
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements and resolving queries
  • Raising weekly payment run report
  • Communicating with suppliers and other third parties as required
  • Assist the finance team as and when necessary, with other finance related work

Experience:

  • Purchase Ledger experience
  • Sage 200 (or similar)
